Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller for this app is FoxFace AI. For any privacy request, contact: support@foxface.com.tr. This policy takes into account the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

2. Data we process

• The searched image: only the square area you leave inside the circle on the crop screen. Your original photo and its location/EXIF data never leave your device.

• Search results: links, titles and similarity scores of the pages found.

• Account: a Firebase anonymous user ID, your credit balance and daily search count.

• Language and country: your phone's language and region setting, used to rank results. GPS location is not used.

• Purchases: payments are handled by the App Store / Google Play; we never see your card details.

• Technical logs: request times and error logs for security and troubleshooting. Images are never written to logs.

3. Images containing faces

Because the image you search may contain a face, it may be considered sensitive personal data. We therefore ask for your explicit consent before every search. You may only search your own photo or a photo of an adult who has given explicit permission. We do not create or store biometric face templates.

4. Purposes and legal basis

We process data only to run the search and show results (consent and performance of contract), to manage credits and purchases (performance of contract), to prevent abuse and fraud (legitimate interest), and to meet legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

5. Service providers and international transfers

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, server functions, App Check).

• SerpApi (intermediary service that runs the Google Lens search).

• Google Lens (searching the image on the web).

• Apple App Store and Google Play (payments).

The image is sent to these providers for the search and may be processed under their own privacy terms. Servers are located in the EU (Belgium) and the USA; transfers outside your country are made with your consent.

6. Retention

• The searched image is not stored on our servers: it is kept temporarily for at most 3 minutes during the search and deleted when the search ends. Any leftover temporary copy is cleaned up automatically every 10 minutes.

• The search intermediary (SerpApi) reads the image only from this temporary address, which expires within 3 minutes. Search records kept by the intermediary are subject to its own privacy terms.

• Your search history (crop and results) is stored only on your device and deleted automatically after 30 days. You can delete it at any time or turn history off in Settings.

• Credit information is kept until your account is deleted. Purchase records are kept as required by law.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to support@foxface.com.tr to make a request. You can also delete your search history and account yourself in the app (Settings → Data). You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

8. Data stored on your device

The app stores your settings, search history and session information on your device. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking tools.

9. Children

The app is not intended for anyone under 18. Photos of children may not be searched.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will announce significant changes in the app.
